Description: Our exquisite Khun blouse is meticulously woven to offer unparalleled comfort and style. Unlike its synthetic blended counterparts, our Khun blouse fabric is made from the finest 100% cotton, ensuring superior quality and a luxurious feel.

The fabric weaving design, known as 'Sooji Mallige', originates from Karnataka and is a homage to the fragrant Starlink jasmine. Handwoven on a traditional multi-peddle pit-loom, our Khun fabric embodies centuries of craftsmanship, previously exclusively used for blouses/Kubsa in Karnataka.

We go beyond tradition by re-interpreting the classic north Karnataka saree blouse, the 'Kubsa', infusing it with modern comfort and style. Lined with fine handwoven cotton, our Khun blouse offers timeless elegance and unmatched comfort. Kubsa/ಕುಬ್ಸ means saree blouse in North Karnataka Kannada dialect. Considering the indigenous style of this blouse, it is recommended to wear it a bit looser. Read more about our Kubsa design inspiration here.

Note: We offer tailored Kubsa in various sizes with lining and contrast fabric detailing. Alternatively, you can buy Khun fabric length, which is 1.5 meters long and 31" wide, enough for a blouse without lining/trim. The Khun fabric is handloom and not Khadi. Images 2 to 7 are Khun Kubsa, and images 8 to 11 are Khun fabric.

Detail: Comfortable closed round neck | Front loops and buttons | Tie-up at front waist | Square armhole with gusset | Elbow length sleeves | No side slits | With lining.
