FAQ's

1] Do you offer exchanges or returns?

We do not offer refunds or accept returns. However, you can exchange your purchase for any other product or size on our website or opt for store credit.

2] Which size would fit me?

Our size chart shows "Garment measurements," not "Body measurements." Measure your comfortable garment and compare it with our size chart for the best fit. Remember, our garments are designed to be worn a bit loose.

3] Can I get garments stitched to my size?

We don't accept custom orders. However, we can adjust the length of the sleeves or the garment by a couple of inches. Leave your instructions in the "Note to the Seller" section at checkout or WhatsApp us at 9886036143.

4] Is there a margin inside to alter?

Our garments are finished with French seams, leaving little margin for alterations. However, our saree blouses, with flat seam finishes, have enough margin to adjust the size.

5] How long will it take to receive my purchase?

We ship your purchase within seven working days. Delivery takes 2-3 days within India and 7-10 days internationally, depending on the destination.

6] Do you offer COD?

Unfortunately, we don't offer Cash on Delivery.

7] Where is your retail store?

Metaphor Racha is primarily an e-commerce business. We do not have a retail store. Our Bengaluru address is for our workshop. We produce against orders and hold minimal inventory.

8] What fabric and dyes do you use?

We use ambara charaka handspun and handwoven cotton fabric unless mentioned otherwise. We use Azo-free VAT and natural dyes specified in the product descriptions.

9] How much are customs and duty taxes?

GST is included in our MRP. Customs and duties for international orders are beyond our reach.

10] How much does shipping cost?

Shipping within India is free, and we use Delhivery courier service. International shipping costs depend on the destination and parcel weight and are charged at actuals using a reputed courier service. Once you fill in the address, you can see the shipping cost.

11] Do you offer your products B2B or wholesale?

Yes, please email us at info@metaphorracha.com for B2B discounts. We do not provide products on consignment.

12] Is the product colour the same as in the image?

We photograph products in daylight to ensure colour accuracy. Slight variations may occur due to monitor settings.

13] What does Metaphor Racha mean, and is it an NGO?

"Metaphor" is an English figure of speech, and "Racha" is short for the Kannada word 'Rachane,' meaning 'to create.' Metaphor Racha is a for-profit company working with weaving cooperatives and craftspeople across Karnataka. It is not an NGO.

14] What are the washing instructions?

We don't recommend dry-cleaning. Wash in cold water with similar colours using mild detergents, squeeze, and flat dry in the shade. Iron inside out.

15] Does the fabric shrink?

All our products are pre-shrunk, but slight further shrinking may occur. Our garments are designed to accommodate this, ensuring a comfortable fit.
